On My Needles

While on our ski trip with the youth group, I crocheted the three hour baby sweater found on CrochetKitten.com.  Thank you for the great pattern Crochet Kitten!! I used a worsted weight yarn and size J needle.

I am working on a baby sweater.  I had trouble finding a plain baby sweater (free) on the Internet.  I started the sweater in Elizabeth Zimmerman's Almanac, but decided I wanted one even plainer, so I am trying my hand at writing my own pattern.  One thing I have already discovered is that I wish I had made the lower band wider, but it is okay for a first try.  I started last night.  Here is my progress so far.
